We are delighted that our 2025–26 results show significantly above average KS2 progress in reading, writing and maths. Our pupils made more progress than pupils nationally in all three subjects. In reading and maths, their progress was also significantly above that of pupils in similar schools.

This matters to us because progress recognises how far children have come from their starting points. As an inclusive school, we are proud of the achievement and growth of children with a wide range of needs and experiences.

There is more to celebrate across the school: 81% of Reception children achieved a Good Level of Development; 62% of Year 4 pupils scored full marks in the multiplication tables check, significantly above the national figure; and 79% of Year 1 pupils met the expected standard in phonics. At the end of Year 6, 59% met the expected standard in reading, writing and maths combined, while 9% reached the higher standard in all three.

These outcomes reflect the determination of our children, the commitment of our staff and the support of our families.
