SEND Support Across the School
All staff across the school are committed to supporting every child through high quality first teaching and appropriate reasonable adjustments within the classroom.
While most pupils’ needs are met through this approach, some children require additional provision beyond the classroom offer. These targeted programmes, known as interventions, are delivered by our skilled LSAs across the school. Details of who facilitates each intervention can be found below. Our staff are fully trained to deliver these interventions effectively. They also engage in weekly continuing professional development. For example, the Lewisham SEND Advisor provides specialist training, including Speech and Language support and programmes such as Zones of Regulation. Teaching staff also participate in weekly CPD led by the Teaching and Learning Lead, who works closely with the SENCO to ensure training equips staff with the skills and strategies needed to support children successfully within their classrooms.
